About Me
I am Brazilian, I have been here in the USA since 2015. I have been playing tennis for over 20 years. I have been certified by the USTA for 10 years or less. I have a lot of experience in teaching beginners of any age. I have my own equipment, including a tennis ball machine. I currently teach an adult and two children.
Teaching Style
I use various techniques to ensure the students continue to progress. We precede training with stretching to prepare the body for the unique movements of tennis, then I teach the basic fundamentals seen in the previous class and new skill of the current class, and I finish with a game.

Gilson is an excellent instructor. He patiently guides and teaches, step by step. Each lesson is different and informative and builds on the last class. He keeps things moving along so it is never boring. His class is one to look eagerly forward to.
I’m having a great time with my lessons
Gilson seems like a very nice guy, and immediately has good drills for beginners to begin learning. However, his English is currently limited, so it's harder for him to explain the proper technique with words.
