About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Gavin and I am a tennis coaching pro living in the PHX Metro. I have 15+ years playing in the sport of tennis. My playing experience includes high school, USTA regional and national events. I am just starting out on my coaching journey, I have coached 1 year of middle school tennis and currently I have a few clients. I am excited to increase my coaching portfolio. Additionally, I am working towards my USPTA certification with an expected finish before the end of 2023. I am originally from New Mexico but moved to the PHX area in 2017. Tennis is my passion and I love to be surrounded by it in anyway. You will often find me watching Tennis Channel and closely following the ATP Tour. My favorite player is definitely Roger Federer but I am a fan of every member of the big 3. I offer a free 60-min diagnostic lesson to assess each students skill level and aid in planning both long-term goals and lesson planning. After the initial diagnostic lesson I offer a variety of single and multi-lesson plans. I look forward to working with everyone to improve their game!
Teaching Style
Each student that signs up for lessons will receive a personal binder that will have long-term goals, drill agenda and lesson plans costume built for each student. Everyone is unique and I want to respect that by building costume lesson plans and drills that directly help the individual progress in their own tennis journey. I want my students to have fun, get exercise and become better tennis players!

Yes, I can travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court in your area.
There is a 6 hour minimum commitment, but if you are not happy after the first lesson, I offer a 100% money back guarantee.
