About Me
Hi, my name is Francisco. I have been playing tennis since I was 10-years-old. I am in my senior year of college. I started playing in Valdosta State University which is ranked 5 in the Nation in Division 2. I played number 1 in my freshman year and number 2 in my sophomore year for the men's tennis team. I was 19 in singles in the nation as my highest ranking in that year. I started coaching when I was 17-years-old in Paraguay, I was teaching to little kids and also as a hitter partner of old people or younger kids than me. Since I started playing in college, I have been working in every summer as a tennis coach. My first summer, I went to work at Stanford University in California. My second summer, I went to work in an Academy called John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in Texas. My third summer, I went to work in Camp Timber Top in Pennsylvania. I am currently working on Future Star in New York. I really enjoyed learning from different camps and Academy. Then, I will like to show different people another way of teaching and also another way to correct their techniques.
Teaching Style
I like to feed the balls with the hand if you are a beginner, then I can correct your techniques and see what you are doing wrong. At the end, I will let you play some games to finish the practice. If you are more advanced and you are able to maintain rallies, I will make you do some exercises like giving directions, playing deep or doing approach shots on the short balls. I will also feed you the ball to remind you how to hit correctly and improve your footwork. If you are really advanced, we will focus more on tactics how to play matches and what to do in every situation.
