About Me
Born and grew up in Philippines, I moved to Massachusetts in 2012. I am a USPTA member with a professional 3 coach title.
A ballroom dancing Instructor by profession, I was introduced to tennis back in 2007. I easily picked up because of my (built-in) footwork from dancing. I fell in love with tennis right away and started participating in tournaments in 2009.
I was seeded 58th in Singapore before I left in 2011.
An instructor by heart, I started teaching tennis in December 2009 and looking forward to sharing my love of tennis with you!
Teaching Style
I see to it that my student learns and improves after each lesson.
Understanding their needs for improvement, and seeing the potential that could improve more. I have my student warm up for at least 10 minutes, emphasize on lesson for the day, and give at least 10 minutes before end of the lesson to apply what they have learned that day.

A perfect fit for us. Thanks, Ferdinand!
Ferdinand taught me and my kids as I bought a package from mytennislessons. I had great lessons and my game improved tremendously. Ferdinand is extremely patient as I needed a lot of coaching and my game needed improvement. He was also very flexible on scheduling the lessons. I really enjoyed my lessons with him and would highly recommend him to anyone.
This review is from my 15 year old daughter: Ferdinand was an absolutely amazing tennis instructor! As someone who had only a small amount of prior experience playing tennis (with little to no knowledge on good vs. bad form), I must say, I definitely improved enormously with his help. He patiently taught my sister and I the best ways to serve a tennis ball, teaching us the importance of both force/strength and control in a game. He was extremely nice and considerate (especially when we needed a water break) and always paid attention to when we made a mistake, careful to immediately correct us. I would definitely recommend Ferdinand to anyone interested in taking tennis lessons, especially if you are new to the game as I have absolutely no complaints!
Ferdinand was a great coach to my 8 year old son. He was very professional and patient. My son improved over the summer and really enjoys tennis.
My daughter wanted to learn enough tennis to be able to play on her own
Ferdinand knows how to teach the game. Very well-rounded teaching style. During the past 12 lessons, improvement has shown greatly in all areas: backhand, forehand serve, and footwork. Very easy to schedule the lessons.
Ferdinand is a great teacher: fun and serous all at the same time. Also, there is no better feeling then when he gives you a thumbs up because you got something right!
