About Me

My name is Eugene and I am a Division 2 tennis player and I would like to coach people to develop a better tennis community and provide a healthier lifestyle for athletes. I have trained in top Academies like Rick Macci's Tennis Academy as well as the Spartak tennis academy in Russia, so I know the type of coaching and the type of work that is required to play at a high level.

Teaching Style

I emphasize footwork and mechanics. However, I also like to work on the mental and strategic aspect of tennis. My practice is developed of in match type scenario play to best prepare you for competitive match play. I believe that technique is important, fundamentals are essential to develop into a good player. Without the proper stroke mechanics you will not be able to play, however, I also like to work on the mental aspect of tennis because it is extremely important and separates the good players from great ones. Everyone has a bad point makes an unforced error, but the great players are able to cut it off right there and do not let it bother them.

Student Feedback

I really enjoyed working with Eugene, he has very good people skills and has a way of motivating and connecting with you during lessons. He helped me restructure my mechanics for my forehand and backhand and he also gave me great strategies for match-play both in doubles and singles. Most of all his mental approach to the game is stellar, for someone as young as he is his knowledge is extensive.
