Eric was the perfect blend of technical knowledge and “let ‘em play” breathing-room to allow me the time to implement his feedback (which ultimately improved my game tremendously). He has an uncanny ability to play just above his student’s level so I always felt challenged but never discouraged (not to mention the 60 min work-outs were great).
Patient and professional, I can’t recommend Eric enough!
My husband and I worked with Eric all summer long and it was the highlight of our summer. We are both beginners and Eric was funny, patient, kind and most of all, incredibly knowledgeable about tennis, without making his clients feel clueless. We progressed well over our 6 classes and look forward to working with him in the future. We highly recommend him.
I've been playing tennis socially for a few years, and this was the first time I've taken lessons. Eric was amazing- our lessons were enjoyable, informative, and a good workout. He was patient with helping rebuild my swings on a more stable foundation, generous with praise, and always gave helpful strategy suggestions. Unconditional recommend!
Eric was such a great tennis tutor. He was patient and had the ability to explain things in simple terms.
When my son Matthew (14) decided to learn tennis we were lucky to find Eric Wade! Matt was a long time baseball player in the Little League system but he wanted to try something new and something he thought would be more personally challenging.
Eric was quick to recognize Matt's strengths and weaknesses in learning a completely new sport and was extremely effective in not only teaching the fundamentals but in motivating and inspiring Matt to work hard and strive to become a better tennis player each time he got on the court.
I would highly recommend Eric for tennis lessons for anyone at any age and experience level. He is patient but firm in his teaching method which insures the student is achieving real and measurable progress, while his infectious enthusiasm and love for the game keeps things fun and highly motivating for the student.
You want to learn tennis, or dramatically improve your game? Reach out to Eric......game, set, match!
Eric is a terrific coach who is patient and willing to work with you to improve your game. He has worked with both me and my 8 year old son and is able to teach students of all levels and ages.
Lessons typically start with warm up mini tennis. This can be followed up by specific stroke work (which can be recorded to aid in learning) or a hitting session with feedback. We incorporated slice and under spin drills as well.
I highly recommend Eric.
Eric tailors your lesson according to your skill. We do drills, play sets, etc. Although I've played tennis for many years, my game has gone to the next level and I'm in my fifties. He tests me to the best of my abilities plus I get an amazing workout. He's great.
Eric is the best. He makes all of the lessons fun.
Eric is great. I take hitting lessons and he is great at drills, playing points, teaching technique and strategy, and hitting. He is flexible on time and location, and he is easy to contact. Three thumbs up!
This was my first time using MyTennisLessons.com. What a great idea! I was able to book a lesson the same day with some flexibility in time and place. Eric was outstanding. He is an established pro in the area and was very professional. I had a long hitting lesson and was very pleased. I will be using Eric again for both myself and my 12 year-old son.
