Been playing tennis since I was a child, played competively until highschool after finishing taking second at States my senior year. Love the game, love to play and love to teach!
Teaching Style
1.0-2.0 -- Feeding and demonstration are great for beginners learning the different strokes and ways to hit the ball, emphasis on proper forms in strokes, toss, steps, etc.
2.0-3.5 -- Drills and repetition will take you from rote learning of the basics, to incorporating game strategy and increasing consistency, accuracy, and power of shots, emphasis on increasing cardio health, the variety of shots you hit, are hit, hitting on the move, etc.
3.0-4.5+ -- Hitting and match play. Advanced drills to push cardio focused on "tired hitting" (gotta hit the ball even if you're really tired), and further increasing difficulty drills to increase consistency, accuracy, and power.
Above all its about fun! You'll never fall short and you'll never make me mad for making mistakes!
