Coach Emmanuel Fortune (Coach Manny) has been an incredible influence on my 9-year-old daughter, both on and off the court. What makes him truly special isn’t just the technical knowledge of tennis, it’s the patience, consistency, and genuine investment in my child’s overall growth. Every practice is more than just hitting balls. It’s about teaching discipline, resilience, and emotional control. Coach Manny recognizes that development at this age is about mindset as much as mechanics, and tailors each session to help my daughter understand the why behind what she’s doing. It’s rare to find a coach who can challenge a child to reach higher while also creating an environment where they feel supported, encouraged, and proud of their progress. I’ve seen such a boost in her confidence, focus, and love for the game. If you’re looking for a coach who genuinely cares about nurturing both the athlete and the person, Coach Manny is everything you could hope for and more.

What I like about Emmanuel the most is that he is honest. If you hit badly, he will tell you and try to suggest an improvement. That is actually way more encouraging than "Goog job"!

Coach Manny has been great! He works with a range of kids in our group from 7-11 and also adults. He’s patient and motivating and also recognizes the developmental stages of the kids and the social/emotional piece. He’s respectful and personable and makes the lessons enjoyable. His knowledge and love of the sport is evident, which makes the lessons that much more productive. We are really enjoying our lessons!

Manny is fun, polite and excited about helping you get better and achieving your tennis goals. He gives you the space to learn and self correct, but knows when to step in with timely advice and corrections to keep you on track. I have had 10 lessons with Manny so far and I am going to go sign up for 10 more when I finish writing this! I am a complete beginner and I can tell that with Manny I will be able to accelerate my learning curve drastically.

Emmanuel was extremely helpful and clear with his instructions! I feel a significant improvement in my playing thanks to his effective coaching methods. It was a good time:))

Coach Manny, as my daughter calls him, is very patient and supportive. He explains the technique and has gives positive reinforcement throughout the lesson. He confirms the lesson appt mid week and notifies in advance if there is a schedule change( which only happened once). He is consistent in teaching style, polite and genuine. My 9 year old really enjoys her lessons.

Manny explains everything before moving on to drills and actual hitting. He makes sure you understand the fundamentals and builds off of those as the lessons progress. Also a cool dude.

I can't say enough positive things about my tennis lessons with Emmanuel. I am an intermediate level tennis player and have had a lot of coaches/instructors in the past. Coach "Manny" is probably one of the best that I have been coached by. He has a great approach to each tennis lesson. He really focuses on important fundamentals and helps correct any weaknesses in my game. At the same time he is really flexible and doesn't try to "reinvent" everything and keeps the lessons fun. I get great exercise and conditioning with each lesson and really finish feeling great and enjoying tennis even more. On top of everything he has incredibly reasonable prices for lessons, and I feel I am receiving top-rate coaching for a bargain. I would strongly recommend Emmanuel to anyone interested in improving their tennis game from beginners to advanced level players.

I like the services that Coach Manny has provided. It's been a fun way to get a good workout while improving my tennis game. The only thing I would like him to do more of is keep the speed up as he's teaching. He's very detailed in what he's teaching, but I like to hear it once and keep it moving. But other than that, he's very timely, very professional and is always providing new information. If you want to have a lot of fun while learning new techniques and improving your game, then Coach Manny is the person to work with.

My wife and I have been taking lessons with Emmanuel for about 6 weeks and we can't believe how much we've improved in such a short time. He's taught us the fundamentals of tennis, including various racket grips, forehand and backhand, volley, and how to serve. We went from not knowing what the lines on the court meant to feeling confident rallying one another and playing against friends. Emmanuel has an enormous amount of patience and uses his positive energy to encourage us to practice and acquire muscle memory. We look forward to booking future lessons with him and highly recommend him as a coach.
