Teaching Style

First, I will ask you to tell me a little bit about your tennis experience. Then, I like to start with the warm up so I can observe your technique and analyze your mistakes.
After 5 minutes of mini tennis, I like to move to the baseline to continue the warm up. During the lessons, we will talk about some feedback on your game and then I usually let you decide on what we are going to work on for the rest of the time.
Moving forward, I will go through detailed explanation of 'your problem' and what we are going to do in order to fix it. I will provide you with an exact plan of how the lesson is going to look like for the rest of the time and 3 drills that will help you to improve your game. Starting with static drills and adding a progression with each new drill.

Finishing up with a fun game or a cool down hitting. Leaving last 5 mins for a ball clean up and discussing what worked and what did not.

Best tennis coach in South Florida! The kindest but also pushes you to be your best. I would do lessons with my sister but Coach Ema would gravitate drills towards both of us even if our skill levels weren't exactly the same but it would push us to work harder. Very friendly but can draw the line between friend and coach which is an important skill to have on the court! Definitely recommend Coach Ema whether it is starting to learn tennis or already know how to play!

Ema is a fabulous tennis coach. In addition to her wealth of knowledge for the game she has a way of teaching and motivating my 14 yr old son to not only be a better skilled player but also to be more competitive and more self determined to get better. She also demonstrates a love for tennis that is intrinsically passed along to my son as well. I suspect she is like that will all of her tennis students. She gets my highest recommendation for anyone serious about being a better player.
