About Me

I have coached many top players in Boston, Chicago, Metro DC and from around the World. My experience includes head men's and women's coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Milton Academy, George Washington University and Howard University. I also was the founder and Director of the Boston Wheelchair Tennis Program, Director of the Boston Junior Tennis Program, Director of Sportsmen's Tennis Club and director of the Washington Tennis Patrons Program.

I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of the District of Columbia and a Master's degree from Fitchburg State University.

As an active USPTA and PTR member, I am the recipient of numerous awards including the USPTA New England Pro of the Year; the USPTA Mid-Atlantic College Coach of the Year; the MEAC College Coach of the Year; Mission Hill Youth Leader of the Year; the USTA-NJTL New England Program Director of the Year; the National Youth Games Champion Coach; the High School Prep Champion Tennis Coach and the Independent Schools League Champion Tennis Coach.

I played tennis in high school and college at University of the District of Columbia, where I was team captain and held a No. 1 ranking. I have recently relocated from Boston to Bowie, Maryland, and am looking to continue teaching tennis in the Metropolitan DC area.

Teaching Style

First I will assess your tennis abilities. Next I will design a program that will improve all aspect of you skills and will guide you how to reach your full tennis potential. All lessons are individually designed to improve my tennis students' level of performance from beginner to professional.
