Doug is truly wonderful! He is very passionate and knowledgeable about the sport, but best of all full of great energy and super encouraging! He modifies for skill/energy level and is really patient when you might be struggling with something. After just one session I felt like I already learned so much, and after two, we worked through so many drills that I’d have plenty to practice on my own if needed. Glad that I ended up with Doug and I for see many more lessons to come!

Coach Doug is awesome. My kids (9 and 11 years old) loved the lesson. They had a blast. They didn’t want to leave and go back home.

Doug has an excellent mix of pushing my child to improve but at the same time not pushing so hard that he would become burned out by tennis lessons. Doug's ultimate goal is for my child to enjoy a lifetime of tennis, which is exactly what we were looking for in a coach!

Douglas is THE BEST! I started my lessons with him knowing NOTHING about tennis. When I say nothing, I mean it. I am a 30 years old teacher and thanks to Douglas, I have a really fun hobby to look forward every other afternoon. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. Great upbeat Coach! Seeing results in just three lessons

Doug is a coach who is hard to come upon nowadays. He is a dedicated coach and mentor of the game of tennis and to his students. He coaches my 6.5-year-old son - it amazes me how he finds the best way possible to teach him the basics but at the same time the techniques behind the sport. I can not recommend Doug enough and I would happily provide references if need be.

Doug is a true professional. He is responsible for my daughter making substantial progress in her game. He is patient and knowledgeable in every aspect- very capable in teaching the fundamentals! Our experience will Doug has been fantastic. He made tennis fun!

I signed up for 12 lessons with Doug. He was very generous with his time and the lessons often lasted as long as I wanted them to last. Typically, we would start warming up and then we would do drills and games to work on specific aspects of my game. He worked hard to make the lessons fun and, by the end, I was usually exhausted from the workout. He was constantly asking me about what parts of my game I needed/wanted to work on and then he would come up with some way to practice it. His advice was very clear and he diagnosed some elements - both big and small - that have made improvements to my game. My serve has really improved, and he has given me some insights that have helped me tweak my backhand.

Doug is an excellent instructor. He is very encouraging while at the same time offering very specific feedback. He has deep technical knowledge which he breaks down in an easily understandable way. My understanding of the game and my technique has improved with each of my lessons with him. And furthermore, his lessons are fun!
