About Me

Hi, I'm David. I am a late-night tennis coach, offering coaching lessons for beginner-to-intermediate tennis players. I can teach fundamentals of strokes, including forehands, backhands, volleys, serves, slices, overheads, footwork. I can also provide guidance on physical exercises and stretches that are benefical to tennis players. I have experience coaching tennis to people of all ages - children and adults. I am patient and passionate about teaching and coaching. As a basic service, I will bring two basket of balls and if you request, I can also bring my ball machine to speed up the learning process. I can teach you how to string your own tennis racket so you can save money by stringing yourself. Please contact me if interested.

Teaching Style

I focus on teaching the fundamentals of each tennis stroke, as well as footwork, which is a necessary part of being a great tennis player. For beginners, I begin with slow balls that sometimes are just dropped or tossed with a hand. Repetition and guidance are both critical parts of getting better, so I will focus on making sure students get both guidance and opportunities to hit as many balls on the court as time permits.
