About Me
I owned and operated Edgewood Tennis and Fitness Club for 17 years serving as its general manager and the director of tennis. I have coached at the high school level, and advanced junior and adult level. I have formed, directed and coached in both junior and adult West PA leagues. I have assisted with the programs at Duquesne, Robert Morris, Carnegie Mellon and Carlow Universities. I directed summer tennis camps for the Adidas Corporation for 6 years through 2011.
Currently, I am the head boys and girls coach a Shady Side Academy, and I oversee its middle school tennis program. I am also a member of the teaching staff at Alpha Tennis and Athletic Club in Harmarville, PA.
Teaching Style
While training is systematic, each student is an individual with unique talents and physical attributes. I structure lessons to complement individual strengths, and to compensate and improve upon individual weaknesses.
