Tennis is a lifelong sport. This sport had such an impact on my life that I would like to make it a positive impact for others as well. Despite my busy schedule, I always try to make time for tennis because it is still a huge passion of mine. My experience and passion for the sport led me to pursue coaching on the side. For me, it's seeing people enjoying the sport and achieving their goals, whether it is short or long-term that keeps me going. I want to be able to work with my students to have fun, but also feel challenged and satisfied at this sport at whatever stage they are in.
I am a 5.0 rated player with a total playing experience of 16 years and coaching experience of 6 years. During my junior career, I was one of the top ranked players in the PNW, and some of my achievements include winning the WA high school state tennis championships twice and winning various junior championship tournaments.
I enjoy working with all ages and skill levels as each provides the challenge of helping each student meet their goals. With my extensive experience and knowledge in tennis, I can help you become a better tennis player. I specialize in teaching beginners (kids and adults), and I put a lot of emphasis on teaching proper techniques and fundamentals. I am also capable of coaching intermediate players who are looking to improve and play at the higher level. I also offer group lessons if you are interested in that as well.
Feel free to contact me directly at [email protected] for further inquiries or if you have any questions. You can also contact me directly at my email if you would like to schedule individual lessons instead of here.
I put a lot of emphasis on teaching proper techniques and fundamentals, especially during the early developmental stages. For each lesson, I focus on a specific area whether it is the forehand, backhand, serve, and etc...
I also offer indoor (at an extra cost) and outdoor hitting sessions and practice matches for those who are looking to improve your groundstrokes and overall tennis game in a competitive setting.
I also offer in-depth video analysis to help correct and improve technique or mechanical/technical flaws that may be present in your strokes.

I hit with Daniel once a week, and it has really helped me with a lot of the intangibles (e.g. shot selection, patience, trusting your strokes, etc.) I highly recommend Daniel for taking your match play to the next level.
Awesome coach and player. Definitely worth the price!
I've had various coaches over the years who either can't tell what you're doing wrong, or don't seem to really care. Daniel knows exactly what your mistakes are and does a great job adressing and correcting them.
I have taken several lessons with Daniel and he is by far the best coach I have worked with in improving my tennis skills. If you are looking for a coach, I would highly recommend him!
I’ve had a lot of tennis courts at clubs around the Seattle area. Daniel stands out by far as the best coach if you want to improve your game at every level. He will spend the time to work with you on every part of your game while also drilling the fundamentals into your tennis instinct. I have improved the most with him, and my only complaint is that I did not start with him sooner. Daniel’s teaching experience shows with each lesson, and I cannot recommend him enough.
