About Me
Hey everyone, my name is Chris and I have been teaching tennis for 16 years. I started playing tennis in high school and competed at the open level in southern California. As an adult, I competed in USTA team tennis and in low level professional tournaments called ITF futures. I stopped competing due to injury and I started teaching shortly after. I work with beginners to advanced, and of all ages. As a coach, I design tennis lessons to meet each student's specific needs. No matter what your tennis goals are, you can improve your game drastically through my guidance and some hard work. I strive to help every student improve, and structure lessons based on what the student needs. For more advanced players, I emphasize point construction, strategy, keeping a positive attitude on the court, and developing winning habits. I am able to teach at Wheeler Park in Huntington Beach and Pearson Park in Anaheim. If you have another available location more convenient for you, please let me know. Thanks!
Teaching Style
I emphasize footwork and making sure students understand sound technique in order to have a good foundation they can improve upon. I like to structure my lessons specifically around my student's goals and what I believe they need to excel.
