Hey everyone, my name is Chris and I have been teaching tennis for 16 years. I started playing tennis in high school and competed at the open level in southern California. As an adult, I competed in USTA team tennis and in low level professional tournaments called ITF futures. I stopped competing due to injury and I started teaching shortly after. I work with beginners to advanced, and of all ages. As a coach, I design tennis lessons to meet each student's specific needs. No matter what your tennis goals are, you can improve your game drastically through my guidance and some hard work. I strive to help every student improve, and structure lessons based on what the student needs. For more advanced players, I emphasize point construction, strategy, keeping a positive attitude on the court, and developing winning habits. I emphasize footwork and making sure students understand sound technique in order to have a good foundation they can improve upon. I like to structure my lessons specifically around my student's goals and what I believe they need to excel.
