About Me
Hi, my name is Christian and I was born in Argentina. I started taking Tennis lessons when I was 7, on the red clay courts of Buenos Aires. My family moved to US when I was 14. Played 4 years of High School, including 3 in Varsity, and some Junior College. I played singles & doubles tournaments in Southern California for several years. I played intermediate and advanced levels under different formats, round robin and single elimination and won Several Tournaments under these formats. I have been teaching over 10 years, beginners to mid-levels, juniors and adults. Taught at various Tennis Camps & Clinics, group and individual Tennis lessons. I'm currently competing in USTA Team Tennis league, 4.0 & 4.5 level.
Teaching Style
I specialize in teaching middle schoolers to improve their game to make their High School team. I emphasize the fundamentals, footwork and fitness. I run drill to develop solid ground strokes and their serves. A typical lesson would be stretch & warm-up, ground strokes drills, then add volleys and overheads. Then I'd finish up w/ serves, or put in the serve drill in between the other drill. If its a 90 minute group lesson or team practice, I add 30-45 minutes of cardio Tennis to the above.
