Teaching Style

Tennis is my passion and what i love to do. I am immersed in tennis with my current day to day work as well as teaching. I set my self apart with 3 main aspects of teaching.

1. I make tennis easy. Tennis is a simple sport we choose to make hard. With my teaching style and muscle memory techniques i can train you to reach any goal.

2. My energy- Your lessons will be very upbeat, high energy, and fun. This is a key to my teaching strategy for all ages.

3. My knowledge of the game- I have played for 20 plus years and traveled the country playing tournaments. I am able to use all of that experience to address your skill set.

Chris is the best! We love our lessons so much and the time literally flies. Came in as a beginner, now love tennis (would officially call myself an ADVANCED beginner now), and want to keep playing and can definitely see a huge improvement after each lesson. Chris is encouraging but also super technically smart and mixes up the drills and games so that we are learning new skills every time. Literally don't want it to get cold because we love our lessons!!!

Chris is the best coach I ever met. He starts from a clear explanation of what we are going to focus and develop for the day so that I can have a clear understanding of my task and parts to improve. For every part of lessons, he fully explains why I need this specific task and how it reinforces my skills. Of course, we need to "practice" to improve tennis skills but it goes very fast and easy with better knowledge about the underlying mechanism, e.g., how my body works for given strokes, etc. Chris gives you this level of lessons, a perfect combination of clear knowledge and thorough hands-on practices. He answers any questions that you can have in the middle of practices. I strongly recommend his lessons for every level of tennis players. He is the best in the town!

Chris has been an amazing instructor. He always brings in new drills to work on which freshen up the sessions, but also focus on weaker aspects of my game.

Throughout my sessions, Chris always told me what he wanted to focus on in the session ahead of time. As I progressed, he began to incorporate drills which put everything we learned into practice. Every-time I had a request of an aspect to work on, or feedback, Chris listened and incorporated my asks immediately.

Playing with Chris has been great, and he never insulted me when I made mistakes, but instead walked me through what he saw and what adjustments I could make to get better. His methodology is great and I got great workouts on top of improving my tennis skills.
