About Me
With 14 years of playing and three years in coaching, I bring a wealth of experience to elevate your tennis game. During my playing days, I proudly secured a spot in the top 5 in Mexico for four consecutive years in the under-18 category.
My journey continued as I ventured into professional competitions, participating in ITF juniors and ATP futures. I honed my skills at renowned academies such as Nick Bolletieri's IMG Academy for two years and under the guidance of Juan Jose Cabrera in Valencia for another two.
Now, as a coach, I aim to share my passion for tennis with others. Whether you want to compete at a higher level or enjoy a refreshing workout on the court, I'm here to tailor my expertise to meet your needs. Let's hit the court and take your tennis journey to new heights!
Teaching Style
My lessons will start with forehand and backhand drills, analyzing technique and then plan accordingly to each players needs. I also like to rally to practice consistency. I love ending classes with some points to get that competition muscle going!
I can always modify if the student wants to work on something specific.
Most important of all, make them fun!

Loved to train with carlos. Great for working out the competition muscle!
I only play tennis for fun. I know Carlos trains other people who compete but he also knows how to train me to be consistent without necessarily making me do hard drills.
When you train with him, he'll ask you a bunch of questions to determine your goals and achieve them in a timeline that both student and coach will discuss.
Had trouble with consistency. Now I can rally with consistence and power.
Hadn't played in two years and got back to it with Carlos. He filled me with enthusiasm and good tips for improving my game.
I saw him playing at an USTA tournament and asked him to coach me. I am a starting player but I feel confident to get better alongside Carlos. Really recommend him!
My ground strokes were fine but my footwork was slow. I needed someone to help me with movement and Carlos training plan helped me achieve a faster reaction and earlier preparation to get more comfortable with my strokes.
Carlos upgraded my game from 2.0 to 4.5 in a little less than a year. Definitely recommend him :)
Very fun and versatile coach.
Met him at the Noho Park tennis courts. When I saw him play I wanted to have that meticulous technique of his. My top spin has increased and now i have a more aggressive forehand and backhand. Carlos' technique is great and he will never hold back for any questions.
Started from scratch. Now, after training with Carlos I feel confident playing USTA tournaments.
