About Me
Hey there! My name is Bryce and I've been coaching tennis full time for the past 10 years. I started my tennis career in Michigan at Ferris State University and graduated there with a professional tennis management degree! So you can tell already I love the game. My playing level has always held around a 4.5. I enjoy hitting and not talking, along with hitting and guidance! Little bit about my career in tennis is, I started out at a country club in Maryland as my first job out of college. From there I found a couple different chances to work for myself and help a friend run some of his programming after looking for a change. I've always found myself gravitated to coaching people and seeing their excitement on their faces when the skill we have been working on for weeks, clicks!
Teaching Style
Always asking what the last matches or practice mistakes were. Focus is on always improving.

Bryce was extremely thorough. I hadn’t played tennis in 60 years! and don’t remember much from the three lessons I took at age 12! Bryce was really thorough; easy to talk to with great explanations. I spoke so highly of the lessons that next week two of my buddies are coming along with me!
Bryce is extremely informative and explains concepts in multiple ways to ensure they really click. He’s helped me greatly improve my one-handed backhand, including how to hit it both defensively and offensively depending on ball position. He was also excellent with my wife, who was brand new to tennis, getting her started with solid form right away. I’ll definitely continue taking lessons with him!
I hadn’t played tennis since I was a kid, but after retiring last year my wife encouraged me to pick up a hobby. A friend recommended Bryce, and I’ve had two very enjoyable lessons. He explains and demonstrates things in an easy-to-understand way and is genuinely insightful. He also understands my 72-year-old body has limits and shares great tips to help avoid injuries. I’ve already signed up for three more lessons and plan to schedule more in the spring!
Working with Bryce is more than just hitting the ball—he explains the reasoning behind each technique and emphasizes smart court management. I’ve learned more from him in a year than from any other coach. Highly recommend!
