About Me
Greetings! I have been a tournament player, USTA team captain & coach and a USPTA instructor for many years. I have trained and coached all age groups, from beginners to advanced. I have experience in sports phycology, fitness training, diet & nutrition, and, most importantly, I discovered THE SECRET to learning tennis. Teaching Style
I first talk with the student and listen to their needs and goals, then do a brief warm-up and follow with a hitting evaluation. I try to focus on one or two things each lesson. I encourage students to keep a tennis notebook / diary and write about what they learned after each lesson, what they did well and any questions they have for next time. My teaching style revolves around the student's needs and I try to keep everything as simple as possible. My Target Tennis method works wonders for beginners and advanced players alike.

Coach Brian is an excellent coach, my kids were playing on the first lesson, he keeps them motivated and has an amazing amount of tools to help kids in every level. I highly recommend him as a tennis coach.
With Coach Brian's professional direction, I walked away from my first lesson with a clear sense of what I need to do to improve. Brian no doubt has deep experience in playing and coaching. He targeted my instruction toward improving my swing and also helped me think about my approach to the game. His combination of explanation and simple drills brings home the necessary practice and repetition tennis requires. Brian is a very likable, easy-going motivator. I look forward to the next lesson with him.
Brian had me hitting balls "like a high school player" within 45 min of my first lesson. I loved his approach and felt like I learned quickly under his instruction. Looking forward to my next lesson and my neighbor tournament later this summer.
