About Me
I have been playing tennis for about 10 years and am currently rated 4.0. I fell in love with the sport and spent as much time as I could learning about proper technique and how to play. I ran the University of Washington Tennis Club (HTC) for two years and participated in the many of their tournaments. I also learned to string and worked for the UW D1 tennis team and strung both the Men's and Women's racquets.
I worked coaching kids professional for a little bit but has many many hours coaching friends and family. From beginners who are just starting out to intermediate players.
Teaching Style
I like to stay pretty flexible with what we are teaching with a focus on the fundamentals. Each student will come with a different skillset and the coaching needs to be able to reflect that. I like to figure out what each student's goals are and work my way from there. I tend to focus on proper technique first to ensure the student has a good baseline and is able to grow as a player.
