About Me
My name is Dr. Bernie, and I started playing the fantastic game of tennis more than 50 years ago. I'm quite passionate about tennis and have made it my life-long sport of choice. Since beginning the game at age 11, I have progressed through the ranks from junior scholarship participant at the prestigious Port Washington Tennis Academy in Long Island, to certified USPTR tennis instructor. I've also acted as a volunteer tennis coach for a conference championship Div. 1 college tennis team here in New Jersey. At this stage of my tennis career, my passion turns more toward teaching this great game within my community!
Teaching Style
My teaching specialties include: error-detection, using specialized on-court drills which help isolate each tennis stroke, performing court strategy and situational drills, and participating in tennis drill with purpose.
