About Me

My name is Ashot and I am from Sochi, Russia. I was ranked #1 in the world under the age of 14 and was #1 player on the Russian National Team. Was a Pro player since the age of 15 and had APT points as well as ranking of 61 in ITF. Was signed by Adidas, Babolat, SFX and other companies. Was a leading player at Division 1 school Santa Clara University.

I have over 10 years of coaching experience as well as hitting with top Pro players such as Aslan Karatsev, Nikoloz Basilashvili, Elena Vesnina & many others.

Teaching Style

Being a director of the biggest academy in Northern California for several years and a private coach I have extensive experience working with players of all levels from amateur all the way up to Professional. The structure and emphasis of the practice will depend on players level, needs and goals.

I have known him since 4 years and I would recommend each and everyone who is out there looking for any level of tennis lessons please get atleast 2 to 3 classes from him and then take your decision. Ashot is a great coach and a very modest human being. I am incredibly happy from the results and progress I have made while working together. I’m always enjoying each lesson and always feeling like my technique and strategy is improving. We played together for 3 years almost every single day for 2 hours.
