About Me
I was on the varsity team for Punahou in high school, and I played competitive club tennis at UC San Diego.
I am a tennis coach based in Hawaii with a USPTA Professional Certification. As of spring 2024, I currently teach group and private lessons to elementary, middle, and high school students at Punahou School, and I'm also an assistant Boys Varsity II Tennis Coach at Punahou School. I've also coached group and private lessons, through the recreation department, at UC San Diego to students, faculty, and staff.
Teaching Style
I also like to structure my lessons progressively over time so that the student improves in strategy, technique, and consistency simultaneously. I do emphasize solid footwork, consistency, and solid transitioning from groundstrokes on the baseline to the volleys and overheads at the net.

Great lessons!
As a senior, I was nervous about trying something new but with Anton’s encouragement and patience, I had a smooth and fun experience. Appreciated the way he took the time to explain the fundamentals in a simple way and demonstrated step by step as many times as needed. Anton addressed all my questions and concerns which made me feel very comfortable. He demonstrated high level of expertise during the lesson and I felt confident learning from someone who clearly knew what they were doing. I am excited to continue my lessons to better my tennis techniques from this pro.
Coach Anton is professional, patient, and kind. My technique and game improved with his advice and constructive feedback. The lessons were engaging and fun. 5 stars! Highly recommended!
