About Me
I’m Aditya Majji, a nationally ranked junior (Top 30) and 9.0 UTR athlete dedicated to helping kids learn tennis the right way. My coaching style is patient, structured, and built around Ikigai: the belief that finding purpose in your work leads to growth and happiness. “Purpose comes from what you practice every day” is one of my guiding principles, and I teach kids to enjoy improvement, not fear it.
I focus on strong mechanics, discipline, and a positive competitive mindset, while creating a safe, encouraging environment. Parents can feel confident knowing their child is learning from someone who values hard work, respect, and the long-term development of both the athlete and the person.
Teaching Style
My private lessons are structured, drill-heavy sessions focused on fundamentals, technique, and disciplined improvement. I begin with a dynamic warm-up and mini tennis to evaluate timing and mechanics, then move into targeted stroke-development drills tailored to each player's forehand, backhand, footwork patterns, approach shots, volleys, overheads, and serve technique. I balance repetition with purposeful feedback, using movement-based drills to reinforce spacing, balance, and clean contact. Each lesson includes serve/return work, point-based application, and situational hitting. We finish with recovery, stretching, and a short mindset talk rooted in Ikigai principles, helping players build confidence, purpose, and a love for daily improvement.
My hitting sessions follow a high-intensity, time-blocked structure designed to build rhythm, footwork, and confidence. We begin with a dynamic warm-up and mini tennis to establish feel, then progress into middle-to-middle rallying focused on timing, clean contact, and movement. I emphasize cross-courts, directional control, and “ripping with purpose” using disciplined footwork. We incorporate volleys, overheads, serves, and return reps before finishing with serve-based points and targeted feeding. Every session ends with stretching, recovery, and a quick reflection. This reflection includes an Ikigai-inspired reminder that small, consistent improvements create long-term growth.
