About Me
Hi, my name is Adam. Teaching tennis has been one of the most rewarding things I have done in my life! I want to further my joy for teaching to as many people as I am able. I am from Tennessee where I played USTA juniors from age 8 to 18. I was coached by my Dad and Steve Annacone while earning 3rd in the nation in doubles in 2010. I played college tennis at Southern Virginia University for the 2011-2012 and 2014 seasons where I ranged in the lineup depending on the opponent but mostly played #1 doubles and #3 singles. I also earned All-Academic in my 2014 season conference holding the most wins in doubles along with my partner. I am really passionate about martial arts, film making, and ones overall health and I want to do all these things in some variety for the rest of my life.
Teaching Style
I like to start out by going through a quick run through of your game hitting all the shots. From there, assess what shots that could show the most improvement and we go from there. I will work on what you want to work on but I believe it to be helpful to see from an outside perspective what one needs to work on as well. The goal is to have fun while learning!

Adam is working with my son. He is positive and encouraging and my son really enjoys his lessons. He feels he is already making improvements. When we play he points out things he had learned from Adam that have improved his game. Adam is a great tennis coach!
Excellent, worth the time and money.
Got me ready for my tournament where I won as champion! Highly recommend as a teacher. He goes through every shot and even an advanced player like myself he gets you grooved and match ready and shows areas that you can improve on.
This dude knows what he's talking about! He really keeps it easy and fun while you are learning an exciting game. When there were things that I struggled with more than others, he really made sure to take the time with me and making sure I got it right! Get yourself a lesson with Adam today!
Adam was very patient with me even though I had zero knowledge or training in tennis before. He did a very good job of telling me why I could be doing something wrong so that I could fix it. He also highlighted how I could improve upon something that I was already pretty good at.
Adam is a professional and knows how to teach. He helped me move from a low 3.5 to a solid 4.0 player in less than a year. I am 52 years old so that wasn’t easy for him as I had decades of self taught bad habits.
