About Me
For 6 years I was the head tennis coach for adults with learning disabilities at a non-profit organization in the South Orange area. I taught basic tennis skills every spring and prepared the clients for competition at sectionals and Special Olympics. I had a very successful team each year with many of my players winning medals, including an undefeated gold medalist in Division 1 singles. I am very proud of their accomplishments.
I have instructed tennis to general populations as well. These included: An assistant JV coach at Pingry Prep school (Martinsville, NJ), Camp Taconic – a sleep-away camp in the Berkshires, the head coach for a middle school in Summit through the Summit Tennis Assoc, Camp Oasis, YMCA Day Camp, and for the for the past seven (7) years, I've been the sole coach for the Adult School of the Chathams, Madison and Florham Park.
I am passionate about tennis and play recreational matches throughout the year and participate in clinics and in local tournaments. I also string, regrip and sell racquets at my other job and I follow the ATP and WTA religiously.
Teaching Style
I typically teach teens and adults who have a USTA rating below 4.0. I cover the fundamentals first which includes: grips and groundstrokes. As the player progresses we move onto volleys, followed by serves. Movement and proper footwork is stressed. I've also been practicing yoga for 18 years and can incorporate a few good stretches before the lessons.

Aaron is super patient and offers great building blocks of advice. After my lessons I felt so much more confident in my game and had learned tons of ways to improve. He does a good job of mixing up drills and lets you pick what you want to work on. Definitely recommend him for any level player.
