About Me
Hey! My name is Zdenek and I’m from Czech Republic. I’m currently a coach at Azusa Pacific. I’ve been playing tennis since I was very little. I’ve played tennis at D1 school at #1 spot. I’ve been traveling as a coach of couple professional players and taught tennis while I was in college as well.
Teaching Style
I put my emphasis on mostly hitting training because I believe that skills can best be developed by playing instead of drills. Especially with advanced players, I like to warm up first and play as many points as possible, including different play variations.
On the other hand, when I coach beginners or intermediate I emphasize on developing proper technique before moving to other steps.
