About Me
Hi, my name is Victor. I love this sport and have been playing tennis since I was 8 years old. I played in local, regional, and national/ITF tournaments as a junior and later played college Division 1 tennis. I was ranked top 10 in the state in TN (Boys 18), ranked Top 30 in the South (Boys 18), ranked in the Top 800 in the Nation (Boys 18), and won state in singles as a senior. I have also been teaching tennis for the last 20 years in different capacities in private and group lessons. I am married with 4 kids and want to contribute to the community and leverage my knowledge and experience as a local tennis coach.
Teaching Style
I believe in offering players of all ages and abilities assistance and direction that serve to fulfill their sporting requirements and goals. Effective tennis coaching doesn’t come in one form as every player is different and I tend to choose a teaching style based on their personality. The main function of each practice is to provide the opportunity to train repeatedly until it becomes automatic.
