About Me

Hi, my name is Verena. I have been playing for Barry University in Miami and I am a triple National Champion. Prior, I have been playing professionally for about two years and my best WTA rankings were 737 in Singles and 474 in Doubles. Furthermore, I got the second highest coach license in Germany in 2014.

Teaching Style

First, I will ask you to tell me a little bit about your tennis experience. Then, I like to start with the warm up so I can observe your technique.
After about 5 minutes of mini tennis, I'd like to move to the baseline to continue the warm up. During the lessons, we will talk about some feedback on your game and then I usually let you decide on what we are going to work on for the rest of the time.
Moving forward, I will go through detailed explanation of 'your problem' and what we are going to do in order to fix it. I will provide you with an exact plan of how the lesson is going to look like for the rest of the time and 3 drills that will help you to improve your game. Starting with static drills and adding a progression with each new drill.

Finishing up with a fun game or a cool down hitting.
