About Me
Former junior super champ who chose academics over tennis at University of Houston. I took a break from tennis during college but started coaching again back in 2019 at a tennis club but eventually resigned in 2024 due to the late hours. It was originally a part time position but slowly it became full time so I had to make a tough decision to step away and give the club a chance to hire another coach that is more flexible than I was.
Teaching Style
I believe in strong fundamentals and keeping the game simple to keep it fun and enjoyable. I like to focus on 4 main fundamentals.
1. Great footwork - good body language and balance is the core of tennis.
2. Having good poise and composure under pressure whether winning or losing.
3. Stay consistent in all things on and off the court. Whether it’s keeping the ball in play or consistent snd strong work ethics.
4. Focusing while playing a match and focusing on the long term goals.
