Hi, my name is Trevor. I am a senior at Concordia University Wisconsin with a degree in sport business management. I have over ten years of applied tennis knowledge through match play, lessons and team practice. Other than an extensive amount of playing experience at the high school and collegiate level I have also been coaching a middle school team for four years now. Being a student-athlete, I have learned the subtleties in which it takes to motivate, lead, and inspire youth athletes in positive ways. Coaching is a passion of mine because I truly cherish the opportunities to help develop students physically, mentally, and emotionally to prepare them for life beyond the sport.
My teaching style has been developed over the years of experience and certifications (PTR) to incorporate a diverse strategy to build the athlete in mind and body. In tennis it is essential to train an athlete for agility, balance, coordination, speed, and strength along with the typical tennis methods to truly reach one's potential. I also stress aggressive style of play that requires the student to understand the intricate parts that make up a point. Lessons are structured in stages that build up the skill of the day so it can be learned and added to the athletes skill-set. I encourage two way communication and always have an open minded student first mentality
