About Me
Hello!
My name is Stratton. I'm a recent Manchester University graduate from the east side of Indianapolis. I was the Captain of Manchester University's tennis team (DIII) and played #1 singles three out of four years, and #1 doubles all four years. I was honored by the Heartland Collegiate conference on four separate occasions, twice, of which, was named to the All-Conference team.
I was an assistant coach for the Boy's tennis program at Whitko High School in South Whitley, IN, and have taught private lessons from elementary beginners to middle-aged beginners. I'm eager to coach more advanced levels as well and teach the psychology behind tennis to clients as well.
Teaching Style
I emphasize understanding psychologically how to become a better tennis player, but I push repetition and learning how to play tennis effectively and intelligently. I'm easy going and will smile through most my lessons (because I love the game so much), but I want to get everyone to a point in their tennis skill to feel comfortable playing one-on-one or two-on-two, with the point of having the fullest amount of fun achievable.
