About Me

Hi, my name is Steven. I'm a former college tennis division I athlete and played at the UVA men's tennis team from 2008-2012. We were ranked top-5 in the nation during the entire time I was there, and was personally ranked as high as #80 in singles and top-15 in doubles. I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old and still love it every day. I also enjoy sharing my experience, tips and tricks with others in their pursuit to improve.

Teaching Style

I like to fully understand what a student's goals are before diving in on any lesson plan. Do you want to improve a particular stroke or simply become better all-round? Are you trying to become a better match player, or do you want to improve your net game? These are the types of questions I will ask and we can come up with an individually tailored lesson plan to help you get better. I've experience working at all levels.
