About Me

Hello, my name is Stephen and I am currently 26 years-old residing in San Marcos, Texas. I have played tennis for 8 years and am super passionate about the sport and teaching it! I graduated with a business degree in marketing. I want to combine my business education and my passion for the game to give the most professional, fun, and pleasant tennis lesson experience

Teaching Style

I am great at teaching the fundamentals of all the biggest elements of the game.

1) Fitness & Health- This includes dynamic stretching , strength & conditioning exercises, proper warm up routines, and recovery
2) Baseline Game- This includes the forehand and the backhand (groundstrokes). We will work on the ability to hit both groundstrokes with depth, angle, and, consistency.
3) Net Game- This includes forehand volleys, backhand volleys, overhead smashes, and approach shots.
4) Serve- One of the most complex strokes on the game is the serve. We will work on creating a rhythmic and consistent serve
5) Movement- This includes footwork and balance.
6) Sportsmanship- how to play the game with integrity.
