About Me

Hi, my name is Spencer. Playing and coaching tennis is my life passion, and that is what you will get with me as your coach. I have lived and breathed tennis for over 12 years, competed in many different settings and studied it religiously. What got me into coaching was my niece asking me to teach her tennis, and I realize how much joy coaching the sport I love brings me. I have coached many different players of all ages and experience levels, and nothing brings me satisfaction quite like seeing my students get better every practice.

Teaching Style

I focus heavily on teaching correct techniques in the beginning because it is hard to eliminate bad habits once you have played for a while. My lessons always consist of perfecting the swing technique and applying it into rally-based training. This will help you become proficient enough to hold your own in a match as we continue to develop your game.
