About Me
Hello my name is Sophia,
I just graduated from college and played for four years on my college team. While on my college team I have add the opportunity to win my sections finals and go to regionals. I have also achieved many personal awards in doubles and singles playing top of my lineup.
Previous to playing college tennis I grew up playing junior tennis participating in tournaments and USTA team tennis ontop of training.
I enjoy teaching others the sport and hope to show players how much fun tennis is.
Teaching Style
I like to first start off by understanding my players goals for their personal tennis journey. I then taylor my lessons based on this.
I like to start with a general warmup working on consistency and then focus on one skill for the leesson. I like to end my lessons with point play to allow them to work on the skill just learned.
I also find it important to work on strategies and patterns for match play.
