About Me

I am a college student who has played tennis competitively with the USTA since I was around 8 years old. I have trained at Eastside Tennis Club, Redmond Tennis Club, and most recently at the Bellevue Tennis Academy. I have competed in 12's, 14's, 16's, and 18's Advanced level tournaments hosted by the USTA. Additionally, throughout high school, I was the #1 player on my team as well as the Team Captain, competing and placing at the 4A state tournament each year (2nd place in Doubles and 5th place in Singles).
My teaching experience comes from being both an Assistant Tennis Coach and later on a Tennis Coach at Bellevue Tennis Academy. I was also a head tennis coach at the Overlake Golf & Country Club during their first annual summer Tennis Camp, last summer. I love both playing tennis and coaching tennis, and find immense joy in being a part in the current and next generation of tennis players. Seeing progress and improvement is both motivating and rewarding!

Teaching Style

My teaching style is a combination of instruction along with a very positive environment. I emphasize building a strong foundation with technique and footwork, and developing tactical skills as well. I structure my lessons to be personal to the student, with a warm up, and various drills and activities that target at areas of improvement.
