About Me
My name is Sia and I’m a first-year student-athlete from India studying Business Analytics at the University of Delaware, but tennis is at the heart of everything I do. Competing at the Division 1 level has pushed me to grow both as a player and a leader, and I love helping others improve their game. Whether it’s perfecting techniques, building strategies, or motivating teammates, I’m all in. Tennis has taught me discipline, resilience, and how to bring out the best in myself and others—qualities I’d love to pass on as a coach someday. The court feels like home, and it’s where I’m happiest.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is focused on patience, adaptability, and a tactical approach to player development. During my 4 years of coaching kids at a tennis club in India, I prioritized building a strong foundation in technique, emphasizing proper footwork, stroke mechanics, and court awareness. I tailored my coaching strategies to suit each player’s skill level, helping them understand match tactics, shot selection, and mental toughness. My goal has always been to create a positive learning environment while equipping players with the tools they need to succeed both on and off the court.
