About Me
Hi, my name is Shivam. I'm a native of the Cleveland suburbs and have been playing tennis since middle school. I played varsity tennis at St. Edward High School in Lakewood and then took a break to wrap up my bachelors in finance and a graduate degree in accounting. After living in Washington DC, Chicago and India while working in the corporate tax software industry, I picked tennis back up while living in Chicago. I enjoy teaching juniors and adults and available for private lessons and instruction during the week and weekends.
Teaching Style
My lessons are typically structured on overall court development and practice. We start with mini tennis to warm up and then do a variety of drills that will focus on groundstrokes (forehands and backhands at the baseline), approach shots, volleys and overheads, along with service practice. As we work through each drill, I'll provide tips and guidance on improving your development and progress while on the tennis court.
