Samar Q.

Hi, my name is Samar. I came to Arizona when I was around 10 years old and began playing tennis once a week up until my freshman year of high school. I then played varsity for 4 years at Hamilton High School which at the time was the third best team in Arizona & I played in the state tournament for 3 of the 4 years. I know what it takes to become a resilient player and I am very adamant on guiding my students to success but not trying to alter the way the player wants to play. Moreover, I am very easy going and love to talk and create a relationship with all of my students that furthers their love for tennis. I will be attending ASU for college majoring in biomedical sciences but I will never lose love for this sport so I want to spread my knowledge to others so they can experience the same beauty that the game of tennis exposed me to!

I like to start with a warmup and an evaluation of the past week or further to see where we need to practice upon. If a player is more on the beginner side I am a big proponent for accentuating the fundamentals and core ideas of tennis.
