About Me

Hi, my name is Ryan! I am a semiprofessional tennis player who is aspiring to be a professional who can take your game to the next level! I understand what it takes to get better at the sport you love! I have a passion for developing my students through the fundamentals of the sport. I am currently a highly competitive college player for Azusa Pacific University. I have a background in biomechanics and am constantly applying it to the strokes, movement, and stability of tennis! I have been playing since I was 7 years old and have a lifetime of experience in competition. I love the sport and it is shown in the energy that I bring to the court in every session!

Teaching Style

I provide plenty of positive reinforcement and try to make the session as fun as possible with technique and strategies incorporated into it! I don't want the student to feel like it is a burden to be training. I want them to be excited to get better each day! I specialize in the forehand, serve, and footwork throughout the court. I also work a lot on the fitness and stamina levels of playing. I also provide mental strength coaching and strategy for match play. I like to work on getting the technique of the stroke down first and then proceeding to perfect the stroke with repetition.
