About Me
Hi, my name is Reid. I started playing tennis in 8th grade, played varsity tennis all 4 years of high school, then played in college at ETBU. I am now coaching tennis at the high school level since 2024. I have a passion for guiding and inspiring people to reach their goals and become a better athlete and human!
Teaching Style
I structure my lessons based on the athlete that I am coaching and will base the lesson off of what they want to get better at. I always hit the basics but like the focus on what the athlete wants to focus on. The structure of the lessons usually looks something like this.
Some form of warm up (short court to baseline)
Fed groundstrokes (forehand and backhand)
Move into drills directed the the athletes needs
Work on other aspects of the game (volleys, serving, etc.)
Finish with some type of point simulation or challenges.
Leave with things to focus on, what we learned/what to continue to work on etc.
