About Me
I am a young and energetic person and like to bring that enthusiasm to the courts. I started my teaching career with kids ages 3-5 at my local country club. I have taught there for 10 summers and became the assistant head pro with experience in teaching all ages in both private and group settings. I worked for a year as an instructor at an indoor tennis facility after college. I currently coach a men's and women's high school tennis team
Teaching Style
I normally let the student decide how and what they want to focus on within the lesson.
If the lesson requests that I decide, I will normally do 25 minutes of groundstrokes, 15 minutes of volleys, 15 minutes of serves and reserve the last 10 minutes for match play.
With younger children I like to focus on basics: topspin on groundstrokes, slice on volleys and consistency on serves. With adults or groups the lessons are more doubles-oriented, but all lessons can be catered to the person's individual requests.
