Teaching Style

Prefer democratic style that opens up to a higher level of communication between the athletes and the coach. Autocratic style can also be used to set a structure to achieve a goal, It works better in team tennis and is generally preferred by older players than younger players. I prefer democratic style because it is athlete centered. It is well suited to individual sports like tennis. Players up to 14 years tend to prefer democratic style. It helps young players in developing a sense of control. My main focus is footwork, tactical training, fitness and nutrition.

I emphasize real love for tennis, need to be coachable , need to have pleasant attitude, humility, emotional maturity, integrity, work ethic, commitment and competes.

The structure of lessens include court dimension and line names such as baseline, singles side lines and service lines,, Hand-eye coordination drills, Forehand groundstrokes technique for new players. tennis lessens should include a warm-up, skill practice and a cool-down. Warm up start with light aerobic or stretching exercise to prepare the muscles and joints for movement, skill practice such as footwork, groundstrokes, volleys and serve, etc.
