About Me

Hi, my name is Peter. I am a 26 year old man and I taught at Nike tennis camps for two summers while in college, and have given privates to many people of all ages and skill levels before.

Teaching Style

I emphasize proper footwork so you have the chance to hit the best ball possible. I emphasize topspin ground strokes on both sides (forehand and backhand), the use of a slice. I include a lot of talk on setting up points and using defense to stay in points. I start my lessons with mini tennis, evaluating stroke technique and grip, and then move on to ground strokes from the base line. I always ask what that person might want to work on so that I can help that person with that specific part of their game.
