About Me
Twenty years on the court and five years of coaching have taught me that every player learns differently, and that's what makes coaching so rewarding.
As a PTR Certified Professional, my goal is to help every student become a more confident, capable player while making the learning process enjoyable. It doesn't matter if you're picking up a racket for the first time, returning to the game after years away, or looking to sharpen your skills for competition, I'll tailor each lesson to your experience level and personal goals.
In addition to coaching tennis, I'm also a professional actor. That background has given me a unique approach to teaching: clear communication, patience, adaptability, and the ability to meet each student where they are. I believe the best coaching isn't just about correcting technique, it's about helping players understand *why* something works so they can continue improving long after the lesson ends.
My lessons focus on building solid fundamentals, improving consistency, developing match strategy, and most importantly, creating an environment where students feel comfortable learning, making mistakes, and growing.
Tennis has been a huge part of my life for over two decades, and I love sharing that passion with others. Whether your goal is to rally confidently with friends, make your school team, compete in tournaments, or simply enjoy a new hobby, I'd love to help you get there.
Let's get out on the court and start building your game together!
Teaching Style
My teaching style is centered around meeting players where they are and helping them build confidence step by step. Every player has different goals, experiences, and learning styles, so I tailor each lesson to fit their individual needs while continuing to build a strong foundation.
I use the PTR hourglass structure to create a balanced approach that allows players to experience early success while gradually developing new skills. By starting with what players can do and building from there, lessons stay encouraging, engaging, and focused on steady improvement.
My goal is for every player to leave the court feeling accomplished, motivated, and excited to continue growing their game.
