About Me

My name is Noah I am originally from the middle Tennessee area, and I have been playing tennis for 17 years and have now been coaching for a little over 2 years. I played my high school tennis at Friendship Christian where I was a 3x All Mid-State Selection, and lead the team to the state semifinals for first time in school history. I played my college tennis at NCAA D2 King University, where I was awarded the Freshman Athlete of the Year and compiled a 9-4 record overall. After my freshman year at King University I decided to stop playing competitively in order to focus on my degree, I transferred to the University of Louisville and am now in my final semester online. Although I had stopped playing competitively I still loved the game and wanted to be involved, therefore I started giving private lessons and helping out with the local high school team. I love coaching and tennis has given me so much not just athletically but also in life, and it gives me great joy to pass on what I have learned!

Teaching Style

The goal of my teaching style is to inspire and offer a positive, high quality approach in all of the tennis related areas: physical, technical, tactical, strategic, mental/emotional, and environmental. I get tremendous satisfaction when watching a client learning a new skill and having their light bulb go on in terms of understanding and integration of that particular skill. To see the look of excitement in their eyes at learning and discovering a new tool as well as the feeling of accomplishment is what it’s all about for me. It's all about having the player feel good about themselves and gaining a new found sense of confidence through the sport of tennis.
