About Me
You can call me Nico. I have been playing tennis most of my life. I played at the highest of levels. I finished my playing career at Notre Dame, which was a top ten division I program in my time there. I have many years of experience coaching, at all levels and age groups. Tennis will always be one of my greatest passions. Now that my competitive career is at an end, I look forward to pass on what I have learned (and continue to learn) to whomever seeks my guidance.
Teaching Style
Hard work comes first. Discipline and excitement are a close second and third. I am a strong believer in forming strong habits right from the beginning. Building strong foundation from the start will do wonders over time. I do not care about talent level. What I look for is constant improvement and intentional practice. Everyone is different, so strong conversation and communication is a big part of my teaching style. I structure my lessons around the most important parts of the game (technique, serve, return, consistency, mental). Customizing appropriately to each individual.
