About Me

Hey! My name is Michelle Jones but my students call me Coach Michelle or Coach MJ. I am 20 years old. I graduated HS in 2023. I was homeschooled from seventh grade up until I graduated. I was homeschooled to play more tennis and travel for tournaments. I am a coach full-time seven days a week. I would love to coach other homeschooled kids because since I was in that environment I have the most expertise when it comes to that. I am PTR certified and working on getting my level 2 certification. I teach adults and children. I have worked in elementary schools, introducing them to tennis. I have experience teaching autistic children as well. At a young age, I understand how crucial it is to have patience with children. I'm a kid at heart so I connect with them which helps them learn faster:)

Teaching Style

My teaching style is to have fun and laugh a lot during the lesson. With my bubbly personality and corny jokes, you will have a good time learning this lifelong sport. I make sure whoever I'm teaching regardless of age, I will make sure you have a solid foundation. I get all my students able to rally back and forth within just a few lessons with me.
